We’re looking for a strong leader to be a Deputy Manager in Wolverhampton for a new 4 bed EBD home.

This is an established provider in the children’s care sector with a strong commitment to investing in the home, quality training, and the right team. They are looking for an experienced Deputy manager who wants to progress into an RM role in the future. They are looking for someone hands on, who understands safeguarding and Ofsted regulations. They are looking for someone who has supported and worked with an RM closely before. Great support available here in the form of a full time experienced RM and a full time RI.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a children’s home as a Deputy Manager – essential
  • Holds a Level 3 in Children’s residential (or equivalent) – essential
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to support and guide staff.
  • Commitment to creating safe, nurturing, child first environments that promote children’s development and well-being
  • Safeguarding expert
  • Able to work shifts initially
  • Proven experience in a children's home as a Deputy Manager - essential
