This opportunity is to provide a safe and secure home for young people aged between 10 and 18. Promoting a caring environment which provides children and young people with a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity and rights to privacy, independence and choice are met.
This role will be responsible for being a shift leader and a key worker to one young person placed at home. Therefore, you will be a role model to both young people and staff, which requires a good work ethic, integrity, openness, and an ability to set firm boundaries with a caring approach.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a children’s residential care setting (essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare (essential)
  • Safeguarding knowledge
  • Child focussed, kind and caring nature
  • Driver (essential)
