A nurturing and child-focused residential care provider committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people is looking for a Senior Support Worker. Their children’s home in Luton provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

They are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join their team and provide high-quality care, guidance, and stability for the children in the home.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people in residential care
  • A caring, non-judgmental, and resilient approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
  • A full UK driving licence (essential due to location and duties)
  • Ability to work a 2 days on 4 days off rota including weekends and sleep-in shifts (sleep ins paid at £65)
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in residential care
